This unique hotel is built in a restored, one thousand year old Byzantine monastic retreat and offers modern conveniences without distracting from the spiritual feeling of the area which is known to have been inhabited for more than five thousand years. The hotel is built from the local volcanic stone and is carved into the rockface making using of the caves inhabited for centuries.
